What selling online actually feels like

Six things shop owners say before they change anything.

  • Our EC site’s login page kills half of mobile checkouts — they get as far as the password field and give up.
  • Broadcasts go to everyone, so most people mute us, and the ones who would have bought never see it.
  • We restock and nobody knows. The people who asked for it in March are the last to find out.
  • Carts get abandoned and we never follow up, because nobody has time to notice.
  • Instagram DMs about sizes eat an hour a day, and half of them are the same three questions.
  • Store regulars don’t shop online, and online shoppers never visit — they behave like two different businesses.
The answer

One product card, two taps, zero logins.

Every step that loses a mobile shopper — the page load, the account, the password, the address form — is a step Chat Commerce does not have.

Identity is the LINE profile. The shopper is already signed in, so the bot knows who they are, what size they took last time and where to send it. No account to create and nothing to reset at 23:00.

Payment is one tap. The card is entered once on the payment provider’s own page and held by them. After that, paying is tapping a button in a conversation.

The concierge answers the rest. Sizes, fabric, care, stock, delivery cut-offs — read out of your product records, never invented. When your catalogue is silent, it says so and hands the thread to a stylist with the whole conversation attached, which is the honest answer and the one that keeps the sale.

The same conversation, from the shop’s side

Every tap is an event on the shopper’s record: what they saved, what they asked, what they abandoned, what they bought. That record is what makes the second order easier than the first — and it is yours to export at any time.

Thirteen things it does

Each one is an outcome and the mechanism behind it. Nothing here is “powerful”.

Two-tap checkout, no login

A shopper goes from a product card to a paid order in two taps, so the mobile drop-off at the password field disappears. Identity comes from the LINE profile the shopper is already signed into; the card is held by the payment provider and charged on tap. Nothing to remember, nothing to reset.

Product cards and carousels in the talk screen

Products arrive as Flex cards and swipeable carousels inside the conversation instead of a link to a page that has to load. Variants render as quick replies under the card — at most 13, which is the LINE limit, so nothing silently disappears on a real device.

AI product Q&A, answered from your catalogue

Sizes, materials, care, stock and delivery cut-off answered at 23:40 without waking anyone. The model may only quote what your product record actually contains — measurements, fabric, care notes and the live stock count. If the record is silent it says so and passes the question to a stylist with the thread attached.

Recommendations from what this shopper already bought

The second order is bigger than the first because the bot knows the first. It reads order history, size, and the products this shopper viewed or saved, and shows three matches rather than a catalogue — with the size that fits already selected.

Abandoned-cart recovery, once, with the exact items

A cart left open comes back as an order instead of evaporating. One message the next evening naming the exact products, the true remaining stock and the delivery cut-off — one push message per cart, capped at one, and it stops for good if the shopper clears the cart.

Restock and drop alerts, opted into per product

A restock reaches the twelve people who wanted it rather than the four thousand who did not. Shoppers opt in on the product itself; when stock crosses zero the alert goes only to that list, as one push message each. Opting out is one tap and it is permanent for that product.

Step campaigns: welcome → thanks → review → re-order

The follow-up that nobody has time to send, sent anyway. Each step is triggered by an event — friend added, order paid, order delivered, 60 days since last order — with a delay you set and a coupon you can attach. Every step shows its estimated monthly push count before you switch it on.

Attribute and tag segments

You stop paying to message people who were never going to buy. Shoppers are tagged automatically by what they bought, what size they take, which drop they came in on and how long since their last order, and those segments are readable by Segment Campaigns so one audience definition serves both bots.

Shareable product links with traffic-source tags

You find out which post actually sold the coat. Every product has a link that opens the card straight in the chat, and each link carries a source tag — instagram-bio, paper-flyer, the till receipt — which is recorded on the order and shown in the KPI breakdown.

Surveys after delivery

Reviews and sizing feedback arrive while the product is still new. A short survey goes out a set number of days after delivery, as a single push; the answers land on the shopper’s record and the sizing ones are fed back into the product’s AI notes.

Shopify sync — products, stock and orders

One catalogue instead of two that disagree. Products and variants import from Shopify, stock is re-read on a schedule and again at checkout so a card cannot sell what the shop floor already sold, and orders paid in chat are written back to Shopify as normal orders.

Bulk CSV and image upload

A 300-product catalogue is loaded in an afternoon rather than typed for a week. Upload a CSV against a template we generate from your own column names, drop a folder of images matched on SKU, and review a diff before anything is published.

In-store mode

The shopper who tried it on in the shop still buys it when they get home. Staff show a per-product QR at the counter; scanning it opens that exact product card in the chat, adds the shopper to the account, and tags the order to the shop rather than to the web.

What the shopper sees, end to end
